POLYMER MODIFIED NOSING

The Polymer Modified Nosing is a hot-applied material. It remains solid, stable and flexible under extreme tropical weather conditions and widely used as an joint system for bridges, flyover and roads.


The Polymer Modified Nosing performs a unique resilience and does not suffer from the problems associated with conventional way of transition strips by using epoxy mortar and cementitious materials. It exhibits remarkable bonding qualities not only to the deck, but also to the asphalt and rubber joint itself. Therefore, this nosing material is provides an integral waterproofing and better protection to the joint system compare other types of nosing compound.


The Polymer Modified Nosing is applied in one continuous length and bonded across the full extent of the nosing ensures that impact forces of moving traffic are dissipated over wide area; it will help to eliminate the problem of localized fatigue, which often occurred in some mechanical fixings, hence the components of such joints may damaged.
